More Blade of the Immortal

This is the first painting finished on my new computer. I can work with bigger files now. :)

Sketch was done on paper, quickly scanned in then all the colours laid down in Painter. Lighting adjustments in Photoshop. A large variation of brushes were used, mainly watercolour simple water and artist oils Smeary impasto.

About 2.5 solid days of painting.

Blade of the Immortal

A quick painting of Manji and Giichi from the manga Blade of the Immortal. Outlines were done in Manga Studio then colours in Painter IX with the watercolour brush. All up about 2-3 hours work. Colour adjustments afterwards in Photoshop.
